About Lazy Daisy Rabbitry
Located in Gibsonia, PA just north of Pittsburgh
In 2011 we joined 4-H with the intention of only geting one rabbit and sharing it among the three of us. We soon realized that wasn't going to work! We researched breeds and decided on the Holland lop. We went to our first show with intentions to purchase a Holland. But then we saw several rabbits that appeared to be fuzzy versions of the Holland. We soon learned that there is a unique breed called the American Fuzzy Lop. It was love at first sight! We fell in love with their fluffy wool and their spunky, outgoing personality. Yes, they do require a little more work than other breeds but it's worth it! As we learnd more about the breed from the many people we met, our herd grew.
We were fortunate to get excellent stock, and our first rabbit, Zotzy, has since become a grand champion with 12 legs to date.
We have since added some quality does and have the occasional litter. All of our kits are handled daily and are friendly and social.
This has been a fun hobby for everyone in the family, including our cats and dogs which also love the rabbits.
In 2018, Alaina became a Charter Breeder for the American Fuzzy Lop rabbit club. This means she ranked in the top ten youth breeders in the country for the past three consecutive years.
Thanks and we hope you enjoy the site!

All of our animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, and even chickens, get along great together! We have fostered puppies and kittens for the Humane Society since 2005. Our house may be alittle crazy, but it sure is fun!

This is our rabbit room.
